White chocolate contains no cocoa solids — just cocoa butter, sugar, and milk. That's what gives it its characteristic ivory colour and pure, creamy sweetness. Ours is made with quality cocoa butter for a smooth, clean flavour that pairs beautifully with the more delicate teas in the Say Ciao range.

How to Enjoy

As a drinking chocolate

• Grate or finely chop 25–30g per 200ml milk
• Heat milk gently to 60–65°C — white chocolate is more sensitive to heat than dark
• Whisk gently until fully melted and smooth
• Serve as is, or with a pinch of vanilla or a little sea salt to balance the sweetness

As a cooking chocolate

• Melts smoothly for ganaches, cheesecakes, and blondies
• Pairs beautifully with raspberry, lemon, and passionfruit
• Use lower heat than dark or milk chocolate to avoid scorching

Is white chocolate really chocolate?

Technically, no — it contains no cocoa solids, only cocoa butter. But quality cocoa butter gives it a genuine richness and creaminess that sets it apart from cheaper alternatives made with vegetable fat.

What tea pairs best with white chocolate?

Floral and delicate teas work best — Jasmine, Chamomile, or a light green tea. The sweetness of the white chocolate complements rather than overwhelms the delicate tea flavours.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. White chocolate is more susceptible to absorbing surrounding smells than dark chocolate, so keep it well wrapped.
