Rooibos grows only in the Cederberg region of South Africa — a rugged, mountainous landscape where the unique soil and climate produce a plant found nowhere else on earth. Harvested by hand and sun-dried, it's one of the world's most naturally sweet and comforting drinks.

Brew Guide

• Amount: 1–2 tsp (2–3g) per 200ml
• Water temperature: 100°C (fully boiling)
• Steep time: 5–7 minutes
• Method: Loose leaf in an infuser or teapot
• Serve: Black, with milk, or with a slice of orange

Unlike green or white teas, Rooibos is very forgiving — it won't turn bitter if you over-steep. Take your time, let it brew fully, and enjoy it however you like it.

FAQs

Is Rooibos completely caffeine-free?

Yes — 100% naturally caffeine-free. It's not a true tea (no Camellia sinensis), so there's no caffeine at all. Perfect any time of day, including before bed.

Can I add milk to Rooibos?

Absolutely — Rooibos works beautifully with milk, making a naturally sweet, caffeine-free alternative to a builder's tea. It also works well black or with a slice of orange.

Can I drink Rooibos iced?

Yes — brew it strong, let it cool, and pour over ice. Add a slice of orange or a sprig of mint for a refreshing cold drink.
