The Chemex is one of the most iconic coffee brewers ever made. Designed in 1941 by chemist Peter Schlumbohm, its hourglass silhouette and proprietary bonded filter system produce an exceptionally clean, bright cup — free of bitterness, oils, and sediment. Pure design. Pure flavour.

We've curated the Chemex Six-Cup as part of our Tokyo Edition brew series. It brews up to 850ml (around 6 cups), making it the centrepiece of any considered morning ritual — at home, in the studio, or shared with someone worth slowing down for.

Why Bonded Filters Matter

Chemex Bonded™ filters are 20–30% thicker than standard filters. They remove oils, fats, bitterness, acidity, and sediment that other filters leave behind — resulting in a cup that's cleaner, smoother, and truer to the bean.
