Chamomile has been used as a calming remedy for over 2,000 years. Grown in the warm, dry climate of Egypt where the flowers develop their fullest flavour, our chamomile is whole-flower — not dust — for a cleaner, more aromatic cup.

Brew Guide

• Amount: 1–2 tsp (2g) per 200ml
• Water temperature: 95°C (just off the boil)
• Steep time: 5–7 minutes
• Method: Loose leaf in an infuser or teapot
• Serve: Black, with honey, or with a slice of lemon

Cover the cup while steeping to trap the delicate floral oils — this makes a noticeable difference to the aroma and flavour. A teaspoon of honey is the perfect companion.

Is Chamomile caffeine-free?

Yes — 100% naturally caffeine-free. No tea leaves, just dried chamomile flowers. Perfect before bed.

Does it actually help with sleep?

Chamomile contains apigenin, a compound that binds to receptors in the brain associated with relaxation. The evidence is modest but real — and the ritual of a warm, calming cup before bed is worth something in itself.

Can I add milk?

We'd recommend against it — milk masks the delicate floral notes. Drink it black with a little honey for the best experience.
